Min Wu is a Sydney-based Mandarin–English interpreter with NAATI Certified Professional Interpreter (CPI) and NAATI Certified Specialist Health Interpreter (CSHI) credentials. As a NAATI Certified Interpreter and Specialist Health Interpreter, I work in the spaces where language carries emotion, where silence holds meaning, and where clarity can change the course of a conversation. My practice spans courtrooms, hospitals, community services, and the intimate spaces where stories are told and decisions are made.
Born in Shanghai and grounded in Sydney, I move between cultures with precision and calm. I brings a multidisciplinary mind—rooted in psychology, law, and linguistics—to every assignment, shaping understanding one sentence at a time.

Beyond the ordinary
Min Wu is a NAATI Certified Professional Interpreter and Certified Specialist Health Interpreter (Mandarin–English) based in Sydney, Australia. She specialises in high-stake, high-precision interpreting across legal, medical, government, community, and conference settings.
Min brings over six years of professional interpreting experience, working regularly in courtrooms, tribunals, hospitals, community health services, legal consultations, immigration interviews, and multi-party meetings. Her portfolio includes complex assignments such as courtroom cross-examinations, delegate visits, inter-agency presentations, live-captioned simulations, and critical healthcare communication.
In addition to her language expertise, Min has a multidisciplinary academic background. She is completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Neuroscience) at UNSW and the Diploma in Law with the Legal Profession Admission Board. Her studies strengthen her ability to interpret with accuracy, empathy, and deep domain knowledge—particularly in psychology, medical communication, and legal procedure.
Min is also recognised for her contributions to the profession. She currently serves as the NSW Branch Professional Development Coordinator for AUSIT and is an Executive Committee member of CITAA. In 2025, she received the CITAA Silver Award for Medical Interpreting, acknowledging her commitment to excellence and her dedication to supporting equitable language access in healthcare settings.
Min’s linguistic repertoire includes Mandarin, English, and Wu Chinese (Shanghainese). She holds a Recognised Practising Interpreter credential for Wu Chinese, contributing to the preservation and visibility of this regional language.
Outside work, Min is a lifelong learner with a love of hiking, running, and exploring the intersections between language, mind, and culture. She continues to pursue ongoing CPD in interpreting technologies, legal interpreting, and specialist medical communication.
